1940’s Double Breasted Suit, Wool, dark brown pinstriped, size XS
This dapper suit was a grooms in 1947. I have included in the gallery photos, my re-enactment of the day, with his bride.
It has been expertly tailored, with mattress ticking lining in the sleeves and waist of the trousers, very typical for this era.
The jacket has been dry cleaned and is in excellent condition. In a flat lay the chest is 42″, waist is 38″. hips are 41cm, the length is 31″ and the shoulder span is 17″.
The trousers have been freshly laundered and are also in excellent condition. In a flat lay the button fly pants are 26″ in the waist, with possibly 1″ extra to let out if needed. The rise is 11.5″ and the length is 41.5″.
The shirt, tie and shoes are not included.
