1960s Day Dress, Taupe/cream striped, crimplene, by ‘John J Hilton’, size 10
I adore this, is she a coat, or is she a dress? It is a dress, but looks like a coat.
I love the label, it reads ‘It’s a honey, it’s a Hilton’, and it sure is a honey!
Freshly laundered and in excellent condition. She required mending on the right side, where the buttons ends and the skirt begins. It is almost perfect now except I didn’t have the correct colour of taupe to continue the stitching through the hem, but this does not detract from how gorgeous she is.
In a flat lay, the bust is 96cm, waist is 82cm, hips are 96cm and the length is 90cm.
