1970’s Evening dress, Gold Lurex, polyester/satin, handmade, size 12
Boy oh boy, has this gorgeous Gold dress been a challenge to photograph!
It is kind of showing up more grey than gold, perhaps because it is gold on black.
So she is in excellent condition except for when I washed her, the outer lurex fabric shrank a tad. Consequently, the stained lining is about 1cm longer. The dress has been priced lower to reflect this.
The sleeves are sheer and the cuffs are knitted.
In a flat lay the bust is 102cm, the waist is 82cm, the hips are 106cm and the length is 90cm.
