Victorian Gown, Reproduction, Handmade in the USA, Maroon lace & satin underskirt.
Truly amazing craftsmanship and detail abound in this gown. It has a train, meters of fabric, freshly laundered, and in very good condition. I have mended a couple of small areas in the lace, so it is ready to swoon around in. Perhaps for a play or theatre production? You could be several ladies from this ear, Queen Victoria, naming one. Or an aristocrat’s wife, a passenger on the Titanic, Vivian Leigh, from Gone with wind, someone from Little House on the Prairie, so many options!
With a flat lay, the bust is 90cm, waist is 72cm. The length from the shoulder to the front of the gown is 152cm and at the back, 180cm. I have also included a stain on a black satin sash if you prefer to wrap it around the waist.
In the gallery we have shown her a few different hats, to help her decide on your character. There is a holder sewn into the back that you can hold the train up with, it’s a very special dress.
